WoW extends Fabled Let Me Solo Him: Kindo’jan to October 27 after Labyrinth bugs

World of Warcraft

Blizzard extended Fabled Let Me Solo Him: Kindo'jan by a week after Labyrinth bugs in WoW 12.1.5. New deadline: weekly maintenance on October 27 (Americas).

Blizzard is giving World of Warcraft players one more week to earn Fabled Let Me Solo Him: Kindo’jan. The limited-time achievement from the Labyrinth of Kindo’jan now runs until the scheduled weekly maintenance on October 27 on Americas realms, and October 28 in Europe. Blizzard posted the change on the official forums on October 19 and said launch-week bugs were the reason.

Quick summary

  • Achievement: Fabled Let Me Solo Him: Kindo’jan (Labyrinth of Kindo’jan, patch 12.1.5)
  • New deadline: weekly maintenance on Tuesday, October 27 (Americas) / October 28 (Europe)
  • Why: bugs in the first week left Labyrinth runs impossible to finish
  • Status: Blizzard says the vast majority of those bugs are fixed

What Blizzard said

“We acknowledge that there were bugs in the first week of the 12.1.5 content update that impacted the ability to complete Labyrinth runs, including those pursuing the Fabled Let Me Solo Him: Kindo’jan achievement. We have now addressed the vast majority of these bugs, and to accommodate players who may have had their experience impacted in the first week, we are extending the deadline to complete the achievement by an additional week.”

Which bugs got in the way

Patch 12.1.5 went live on October 13 in the Americas and the Labyrinth had trouble from day one. Runs could get stuck in a state you couldn’t finish, and Kindo’jan sometimes stopped at 1 health without the fight completing. Hotfixes on October 14 and October 16 went after both problems, and Wowhead tracked a longer list of Labyrinth fixes after that. If a chamber still breaks on you, report it in game: Blizzard only said the “vast majority” of the bugs are gone.

What to do this week

  • If you gave up after a bugged run, this is the week to try again. The deadline is the reset, not the end of the day.
