This page explains how MMO Central checks and publishes information.
Sources
Whenever possible, we use primary sources: official websites, patch notes, and statements from developers and publishers. When an article reports official information from a game’s developer or publisher, we list those official sources in a Sources box at the end of the article. Other articles do not show that box, but their facts are still checked before publication.
Rumors and unconfirmed information
Information that has not been confirmed is marked as a rumor in the title or in the first paragraph.
Human review
Every article is checked against sources before it is published, including those prepared with the help of AI tools. We may use AI tools to help organize research, draft or translate text, but the site owner is responsible for everything that is published.
Images
We use official press kits, our own screenshots, or images we are licensed to use, and we always credit them. We do not publish AI-generated images that imitate official game art.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix the article and add a dated note at the end, labeled “Correction.”
Sponsored content and affiliate links
Sponsored content and affiliate links are always labeled.
