Two things came out of the show: the Classic World roadmap for the months after launch, and Maplayer One, the winter update for Global MapleStory. Nexon has not posted a written recap of the Classic World panel yet, so the dates below come from the official livestream and may still move.

Global MapleStory: Maplayer One

Inkwell’s Note on the official site lays out Maplayer One, the winter update for the main game, with new GMS-exclusive content and a new character. Nexon also started a login gift on Monday, October 19 at 12:00 a.m. UTC. The v.272 test server below is the first chance to try the November part.

Where the show streamed

Nexon confirmed a livestream on the MapleStory Twitch channel and the MapleStory YouTube channel. The in-person show begins at 10:00 a.m. PT, so the stream should go live around then. Nexon has not posted a separate stream start time.

What Nexon is showing

  • Global MapleStory winter updates. The site’s teaser centers on Aidan, a soldier fighting the Adversary, and the event page promises “high-quality showcase sessions”.
  • Classic World Dev Panel. Launch talk: Classic World opened October 21, and this was the last big stage before that.
  • Live music and exclusive merch for attendees.

Try the November update early: v.272 PTS

Nexon says many v.272 changes will be previewed at the Fest. Sign-ups for the v.272 Public Test Server closed on October 21 at 4:00 p.m. PT. Players who signed up picked up to three characters to copy and can play the test from October 29 to November 1. You need to sign up again even if you joined the v.269 or v.270 tests.
