AION 2 Halloween event: Pumpkin Coins, shop and what to buy
AION 2 Trick or Treat Halloween event runs until the Nov 3 maintenance. How to farm Pumpkin Coins, Coin Merchant shop, Candy Keys and what to buy first.
AION 2’s Halloween event, Trick or Treat, is live until the scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, November 3 (PST). You earn Halloween Pumpkin Coins from daily attendance and weekly event missions, then trade them at a Coin Merchant in town for a skeleton breastplate skin, skin chests, Odyle Energy and other materials.
Quick summary
- When: after the October 13 (PDT) maintenance until before the November 3 (PST) maintenance
- Currency: Halloween Pumpkin Coin (Event), from attendance and missions
- Best buy: Special Halloween Chest, 250 coins, once per server (skeleton breastplate skin + 10,000 Pet Soul Crystal)
- Merchants: Elyos in Verteron, Asmodians in Altgard
- Everything is bound: nothing from the event can be traded

How to earn Halloween Pumpkin Coins
Daily attendance
Open the in-game menu, then Attendance, and claim the Trick or Treat reward each day. You get 35 coins a day and 100 on days 7 and 14, so all 14 days add up to 620 coins. Attendance resets at 12:00 a.m. PDT and counts once per server, not per character.
Weekly event missions
The missions sit under Season Mission, Event tab, and reset once per week per server:
- Hunt 10 monsters in the Abyss: 25 coins
- Clear a Transcendence Dungeon: 25
- Clear an Expedition Conquest: 25
- Clear an Ascension Trial: 25
- Clear Nightmare once, any stage: 25
- Log in 3 times: 30
- Obtain 1 piece of Unique gear: 20
- Use 5 Scrolls: 20
- Join a Dimensional Invasion: 20
- Join a Shugo Festival: 20
That is 235 coins a week if you do all ten.
Where is the Coin Merchant?
- Elyos: Verteron, at Dawn Legion Base or Zumion Village
- Asmodians: Altgard, at Safe Haven or Nornir Assembly
What to buy with Pumpkin Coins
| Item | Cost | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Special Halloween Chest (Spooky Scary Skeleton breastplate skin + 10,000 Pet Soul Crystal) | 250 | 1 per server |
| Lower Abyss Rift Stone | 30 | 2 per server per week (Lv. 45) |
| Skin Chest (10 times) | 15 | 5 per server per week |
| Odyle Energy | 10 | 4 per server per week (Lv. 45) |
| Nightmare Dungeon Challenge Ticket | 7 | 3 per server per week |
| Shugo Festival Reward Key | 7 | 3 per server per week |
| Instant Clear Ticket: Daily Dungeon | 3 | 7 per server per week |
| Resurrection Spiritstone | 2 | 10 per server per week |
| Life Crystal | 2 | 20 per character |
| Halloween Candy / Halloween Cookie | 2 each | 10 per character |
| Superior Power Shard | 1 | no limit |
Get the Special Halloween Chest first. It is the only cosmetic you can’t get any other way in the event, and attendance alone covers it by the second week. After that, the weekly items reset, so spend on Odyle Energy and the Rift Stones every week instead of saving everything for the end. Leftover coins can go into Superior Power Shards at 1 coin each.
The Halloween Candy gives +25 Attack, +250 Defense, +300 max Stamina and 40% Stamina regen for 5 minutes. The Cookie gives +500 HP, +250 MP, +300 max Stamina and the same regen.
Candy Keys and town candies
Expedition and Transcendence clears drop Candy Key Fragments. Morph 60 fragments into a Red, Yellow or Blue Candy Key (each color once per week per server) and use it on the candies placed around town:
- Red Candy: 20 Growth Pet Chests, 10 Battle Enhance Scrolls, 5 Candies, 5 Cookies
- Yellow Candy: 10,000 Abyss Points, 10 Life Crystals, 5 Candies, 5 Cookies
- Blue Candy: 4 Odyle Energy, 10 Resurrection Spiritstones, 5 Candies, 5 Cookies
Spare fragments convert into Superior Power Shards, 10 per fragment.
When event items disappear
- November 3, 11:00 p.m. PST: Halloween Candy, Halloween Cookie, Candy Key Fragments and Candy Keys.
- December 15, 11:00 p.m. PST: Special Halloween Chest (if unopened), Resurrection Spiritstones, Daily Dungeon clear tickets, Nightmare tickets, Shugo Festival keys and Odyle Energy from the event.
The coins themselves are removed when the event ends, so spend them before the November 3 maintenance.

Halloween skins in the shop
The same update added new Halloween outfit skins. NC shows them in the official Daeva Lookbook; check the in-game shop for current prices. New to the game? Start with our AION 2 beginner’s guide, and if you’re moving servers, the server transfer window for launch servers is open until the October 27 (PDT) maintenance.
