AION 2 server transfers: launch-server window open until October 27 PDT, here’s what moves

Update, Oct 21: the Oct 20 (PDT) / Oct 21 (CEST) maintenance is complete, the Early Access window is closed and launch-server transfers are now open until before the Oct 27 (PDT) / Oct 28 (CET) maintenance. On Oct 21 only, the first Europe and Asia round starts at 05:00 PDT / 14:00 CEST (NC Q&A, updated Oct 20).

Update, Oct 16: NC says every server has a cap on transfers in and out, so a direction can close before the window ends. Available slots refresh every hour on the hour; if yours is full, try the next round. Servers with too many requests may close permanently in that direction. Source: NC notice, Oct 14.

AION 2’s Early Access server transfer window closed with the Tuesday, October 20, 2026 (PDT) / Wednesday, October 21 (CEST) maintenance. The second window, for launch servers, is open now until before the October 27 (PDT) / October 28 (CET) maintenance. NC pushed the details on X and in the official notices on October 14.

Windows and daily hours

• Early Access transfers: after Oct 13 (PDT) / Oct 14 (CEST) maint → before Oct 20 (PDT) / Oct 21 (CEST) maint.
• Launch-server transfers: after Oct 20/21 maint → before Oct 27 (PDT) / Oct 28 (CET) maint.
• Transfers only run in daily regional slots (example: South America 09:00–13:00 and 15:00–19:00 PDT). Caps update every hour; a server can close early if it hits the in/out limit.
• Early Access characters stay on Early Access servers for this first window.

Who can transfer

• Characters Lv. 10 or higher, standing in a village (not in the Abyss, a Spacetime Rift or a dungeon).
• Not in a Legion and no pending Legion application: leave first.
• No active Duty missions, nothing listed or unclaimed on the Market, nothing left in Shop Storage (including the Founder’s Pack) and no unclaimed mail on that character.
• One transfer per account for the whole period, from one server to one server, same faction and same region. You can move as many characters as you want in that one transfer.

Cost (Products Info)

• Base transfer and selected characters are listed at 0 Quna for this period.
• You only pay 1,000 Quna per extra character slot if the destination does not have enough free slots for the characters you move.
• Always re-check the live Products Info notice before you click buy. NC updated it on Oct 14, 02:30 PDT.

What moves with you (and what does not)

• Moves: character inventory + Character Storage (including bought slots), Kina on the character, Quna/Mileage (merged on destination), Closet skins, pets/Genus (merged; Genus Insight you pick which progress to keep), Membership (merged), Daeva Pass + progress, Pantheon, Arcana, Monolith/Empyrean Trace, season rank points and completed season missions, dungeon cube remaining claims, Abyss / Spacetime Rift time.
• Does not move: Server Storage contents: pull anything you care about into inventory or Character Storage first. Expanded character slots stay on the origin server.
• Name becomes @TemporaryName; you rename on first login. If the old name is taken on the destination, you cannot reclaim it.
• Friends/Block lists stay; origin-server pets/skins are removed from characters you leave behind.

Shop quirks during the window

• Instant Clear Ticket: Daily Dungeon (Bound) and Soul Crystal (Bound) move from Wind Breeze Merchants Special to Substance Morph for the transfer period.
• Odyle Energy (Bound): server weekly cap of 16 removed; per-character weekly cap rises from 4 to 20 (also called out in the Oct 13/14 patch notes on Steam).

If Shop → Server Transfer says unavailable, you are outside the daily hours or your server’s transfer queue is closed for that hour. Wait for the next slot instead of spamming.
