FFXIV Evercold pre-orders are open: editions, prices, bonuses and early access

FINAL FANTASY XIV: Evercold pre-orders opened on November 4, 2026. The Standard Edition costs US$44.99, the Digital Collector’s Edition US$64.99 and the Collector’s Bundle US$319.99, according to the official product page. Every game edition comes with two bonus items and early access from February 19, 2027, four days before the February 23 launch.

When pre-orders open on each store

Square Enix staggered the start times: the Mog Station (Windows and Mac) opened at 1 a.m. PST, while Steam, the consoles and the Square Enix Store, including the Collector’s Box, open at 10 a.m. PST (3 p.m. BRT) in North America. Evercold comes to Windows, Mac, Steam, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.

Pre-order bonuses

• Wind-up Köttr minion: a replica of the cat-like Kettir race you meet in Evercold.
• Halone’s Earring: its stats scale with your job and level, and it gives 30% more EXP from defeating enemies from level 1 to 100. Disciples of War and Magic only.
• Early access: starts around 1 a.m. PST on February 19, 2027. You need Dawntrail registered and certain quests completed to play the new content.

The official announcement says the minion and the earring arrive right away. Square Enix notes both may be obtainable by other means in the future.

What the Collector’s editions add

The Digital Collector’s Edition and the Collector’s Bundle add three account-wide items, delivered by moogle letter once early access begins:

• Valhallar Odin mount, inspired by the Eidolon Odin from FFXIII
• Entreat Crystal emote
• Crystal Skyltborg, a crystal shield that works as a weapon for the new Bastion job, usable at any level

The physical Collector’s Box has an art box, a Reaper figure, an Ethos metal keychain, a Köttr mini plush and a Tapestry of the Fourth. The Bundle’s digital code is for Windows or Mac only, so Square Enix recommends that Steam, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch 2 players buy the Collector’s Box on its own from the Square Enix Store and the Digital Collector’s Edition on their platform.

Before you buy

• Evercold is not standalone. You need a full copy of FFXIV (the free trial does not count) and an active subscription.
• Registering Evercold also gives you Endwalker and Dawntrail.
• On Mog Station the bonuses are added to your account automatically. On Steam, the pre-order code is in your Library: right-click FINAL FANTASY XIV Online, Manage, CD keys, then register it on the Mog Station. Console versions need no code.
