ESO Update 51 Incremental 1: patch notes and the base game changes
ESO Update 51 Incremental 1 is live: Greymoor and two dungeons join the base game, plus the fixes and what comes with Season Two.
ESO’s Update 51 Incremental 1 went live on October 19 as the first patch for Update 51. It fixes day-one issues and moves Greymoor and two dungeons into the base game for everyone.
What moves into the base game
- Greymoor, including the Antiquities system.
- The Moon Hunter Keep and March of Sacrifices dungeons.
Players who did not own these DLCs receive them on their first login after the patch. You can check ownership in the Collections menu.
Selected fixes
- Weapons no longer unsheathe on their own after navigating UI elements such as Collections.
- Nirncrux, Perfect Roe, Aetherial Dust and Aetheric Ciphers appear less often in Veterancy Crafting Pouches.
- Master Alchemy Writs can no longer request an impossible combination of traits. Existing impossible writs are not fixed retroactively, and the notes say a future patch will update them.
- The Bear Aura’s damage shield on allies in March of Sacrifices was reduced after it rose in Update 51.
- Ansuul the Tormentor in Sanity’s Edge can no longer disappear underground.
What comes next
Season Two: Echoes of Skyrim started October 21 and runs to January 27, 2027. It adds solo versions of Moon Hunter Keep and March of Sacrifices, with the optional Meted Misfortunes modifiers that make them harder. A second Update 51 incremental, with more fixes, is due in November.
