ArcheAge Chronicles Early Access launch time, price, servers and requirements

ArcheAge Chronicles Early Access launches Nov 3 at 3 PM PST (8 PM BRT) on Steam for US$29.99. Servers, requirements, languages and what changed since the demo.

ArcheAge Chronicles entered Steam Early Access on November 3, 2026, at 3 PM PST. That is 8 PM in Brasília (BRT) and 11 PM GMT, according to the official launch times graphic. It costs US$29.99 (R$ 99,99 on the Brazilian Steam store) and there are servers in São Paulo.

Update, November 4: launch-day bugs and maintenance

The launch had problems. In an official notice on Steam, XLGAMES apologized and listed the main issues. Fixes are ready for players stuck in tutorial quests and for bosses that stop spawning after you leave the area. The team is still investigating the Malchuk encounter (boss not reappearing or players unable to respawn) and NPC quest progression in areas like Cliffs of Madness. A temporary maintenance was announced for November 4 at 9 AM PT (2 PM BRT, 5 PM GMT), lasting about 2 hours.

Official workarounds while the fixes roll out:

  • In dungeons, keep the party together until you reach the next area. If the leader leaves or the party disbands, progress can get blocked.
  • Some key items are not shared, so each party member must pick up their own key.
  • Stuck in the terrain? Press ESC and choose Escape. If that fails, restart the game, log in and try Escape again.
  • Seeing chat in other languages? Use Settings, Game Options, Chat Language Filter.

Servers: pick carefully

Brazil and Singapore servers were added after the Steam Next Fest demo, as Producer Ham wrote in his letter on Steam. Your region is now picked automatically from your location. Choose with care, because the official notice on server transfers says characters cannot move to another server during Early Access, and players on different servers cannot play together. If you plan to play with friends, agree on a server before you create a character.

Is there Portuguese?

Partly. In a notice posted on November 3, the team said it will add machine-translated text in Brazilian Portuguese and Japanese. These languages are still not officially supported, and the developers warn that some terms may read oddly. To switch: Options, General, Language. The same notice confirms that Steam Family Sharing is not supported.

PC requirements

From the Steam page. An SSD and 100 GB of free space are required in both cases.

  • Minimum (30 FPS, 1080p, Low, upscaling on Quality): Windows 10 64-bit, Intel Core i5-10400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB RAM, GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER or Radeon RX 6600 (8 GB), DirectX 12.
  • Recommended (60 FPS, 1080p, High, upscaling on Quality): Windows 11 64-bit, Intel Core i7-12700 or AMD Ryzen 7 5700X, 32 GB RAM, GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB or Radeon RX 7700 XT (12 GB).

What changed since the demo

Producer Ham’s letter lists fixes for the problems players reported in the demo: a shader compilation screen on first launch instead of a black screen, fixes for disconnects and login errors, parties that stay together across Peace and Conflict channels, dungeon progress that survives a disconnect, and balance changes such as lower Wall of Fire damage. The core feel of combat (stamina, hit stun, movement) was deliberately not rushed: a dedicated combat team will tune it during Early Access.
