Hallow’s End runs from October 19 to November 2, according to Blizzard. Trick-or-treating happens at the innkeepers across the game’s zones, and this year adds neighborhood features.
What’s new
- Neighborhood Haunts: each neighborhood gets a random theme when the event starts, with cosmetics, candy and daily quests from Nomi. The quest chain starts with “A Haunted Home” from a Holiday Enthusiast.
- Community Candy Crawl: for 15 minutes every hour, trick-or-treat around Founder’s Point and Razorwind Shores as a neighborhood world quest.
- Daily neighborhood quests: clean up Discarded Wrappers to fill the Contribution bar, catch ghosts for the Ghost Tank, or spin webs as a spider for 3 minutes.
- Wickerman Piñata: add 10 candies, then start the one-minute countdown. Bonus candy drops when it falls.
- Candy Buckets: scattered through Quel’Thalas.
Headless Horseman
Queue daily through the Dungeon Finder for a chance at the Headless Horseman’s Ghoulish Charger skyriding mount. Characters from level 10 to 80 can queue. One random armor piece drops per day, with no duplicates, and each piece is guaranteed.
Vendors
The Horseman’s Ghoulish Great Blade, Blade and Bulwark cost 100 Tricky Treats each. The Patched Harvest Golem transmog set is also sold. Decor from Jolli Maxiboom (Razorwind Shores) and Holly Twinklebright (Founder’s Point) costs gold.
Achievements
New achievements include Tricks and Treats of Midnight, Sweet Tooth and A Frightening Friend, which rewards Scarecrow Pepe housing decor for finding Pepe in his scarecrow costume.
