FFXIV’s Halloween event, All Saints’ Wake 2026, runs from Thursday, October 15 at 1:00 a.m. PDT to Monday, November 2 at 6:59 a.m. PST. In UTC that is October 15, 08:00 to November 2, 14:59. This year’s quest is called “We Scare Bears”, and Square Enix gave it the subtitle “A Grisly Affair of Mortals and Bears”.

How to start

  • Requirement: any character at level 15 or higher.
  • Quest: “We Scare Bears”, in which a pumpkin-headed apparition “is keen to introduce you to her otherworldly acquaintances.”
  • Rewards: new armor and furnishings, shown on the official event page.
  • Older rewards: some items from past All Saints’ Wake events can be bought from the bespectacled peddler.

The one rule that matters

Seasonal quests can’t be completed after the event ends. If you start “We Scare Bears” on November 1 and don’t finish it before the 6:59 a.m. PST cutoff on November 2, you won’t get the rewards. Square Enix also warns that dates and times may change.

  • The Fall Guys collaboration runs until October 27 at 7:59 a.m. PDT.
  • Season 1 of the Crucible of the Unbroken rankings starts October 25 at 10:00 p.m. PDT.

Making the most of the event

  1. Get an alt to level 15 if you want the rewards on a second character.
  2. Do it in the first week. Finishing early takes the November 2 deadline out of the picture.
